A massive beauty festival – the first of its kind – is set to attract thousands of beauty fiends to the Auckland Central precinct come April 2022.
Dubbed as the Coachella of beauty events, Beauty Nation promises a two-day fully immersive festival experience for those with an eye for glam in every sense of the word.
Beauty Nation will be a front runner in celebrating diversity and cultural inclusivity, challenging the status quo and championing self-expression through many ways, shapes and forms. It will be a safe space for everyone interested in all things beauty where they can express their own interpretation of beauty, whatever that may look like.
Six interactive zones will play host to over 5,000 festival-goers daily, each zone offering an experience that will captivate even the wildest of imaginations. The zones will include a ‘Beauty School’ with a range of different masterclasses, seminars and guest speakers, whilst ‘The Pamper Lounge’ will provide a heavenly space to relax – a one-stop shop for beauty services.
And it’s not just about the girls. ‘The Man Cave’ offers the perfect chill zone featuring brands specifically for men – we all know soap just doesn’t cut it anymore.
We’ll also showcase the local heroes at the ‘Aotearoa Made’ zone where our country’s best products, brands, and Kiwi beauty businesses will join forces.
An impressive line-up of industry experts, beauty brands, head-turning entertainers and social media stars will turn out in droves to be a part of the beauty event of the year. This will be the place to learn all the tips and tricks from the best in the business.
Winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, Kita Mean and resident queen at Caluzzi Caberet Anita Wigl’it, are two of the big names already signed up to be involved in this epic festival. With more well-known artists set to bolster the talent list, this will be an unforgettable beauty festival like no other.
When Chrissy Ve, Director at Ve Management and Co-Founder of Beauty Nation saw the potential in bringing festival vibes to beauty lovers, she leapt at the opportunity. She recruited her Co-Founder Namiko Shibata and they quickly got to work to create a first of its kind beauty event for Aotearoa.
“Seeing the overwhelming support for this event has been incredible – It’s going to be huge – I’m really looking forward to bringing Beauty Nation to life for beauty lovers across New Zealand,” says Chrissy.
“Our four walls at home have become all too familiar and after everything that has happened with the pandemic, this event will come at the perfect time to uplift and unite everyone in something we all love… beauty!”
This festival offers an array of opportunities for different brands, companies, influencers and more to come together to teach, inspire and sell to some of the biggest beauty enthusiasts across the country.
